INTRODUCTION TO DYNAMIC COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE

BASIC DYNAMIC COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE COURSE
One of our most popular classes is the Basic Dynamic Community Governance. In this interactive and engaging training, you will learn the basic concepts of Dynamic Community Governance and how to introduce them to your organization/business. The new tools can help your organization make great decisions together, get things done, and advance toward your goals faster than you ever thought possible.
The course consists of 4 sessions, once a week, for 2 hours via zoom plus a 2 hour follow-up session the next month. Five sessions in all!
Cost is $1000 for the full training. To encourage organizational engagement, we are offering “buy one, get one free.” That is, 2 people from a business/organization can attend for the price of one person. Additional discounts are available for three or more people from an organization and we honor timebank hours. Contact us with any special needs or requests.
ADVANCED DYNAMIC COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE COURSE
This course is designed for those who have completed the Basics Course and are ready to integrate the acquired concepts and more advanced skills into their organization’s structure and practices. Highly interactive, this course is customized to your specific organizational/business needs. We offer:
- Roleplaying resolution of challenging issues/concerns
- To attend your organization’s meetings to provide onsite coaching and immediate feedback
- Customized sessions focused on short and longer range planning.
The course consists of 3 sessions, once a week, for 2 hours via zoom plus coaching of meetings in your organization (number to to be determined).
Cost is $1000 – $2000 for the full training with cost determined by the number of coached sessions. THE ART EFFECTIVE FACILITATION
This course, focusing on practical, yet challenging, skills, is designed for everyone who wants to excel at the art of facilitation. It consists of two 2-hour sessions approximately three weeks apart. The first session introduces some basic facilitation skills through the Dynamic Community Governance lens, using interactive exercises. Participants then try out those concepts in their organizations, businesses, or families. In the second session, participants discuss their facilitation experiences and additional skills and exercises are provided.

Cost is $200 for the full training.
ADVANCED ART OF FACILITATION
This class is for people who have taken both the Art of Facilitation Course as well as the Basic Dynamic Community Governance Course. The class content and length will be customized to the needs of your organization or business.
Class options include facilitating: conference open space, emotional intelligence skills (such as mirroring), conflict resolution, mediation, performance reviews, dealing with challenging people, transformative learning, doing more effective agile retrospectives, large groups such as cohousing or neighborhood assemblies.
